Position Information
As a Banquet Busser, you will be responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to guests according to company policies, procedures, and performance standards. In addition, you will perform all duties to maximize a quality work environment and guest satisfaction, as directed by the Event Coordinator.

Responsibilities
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Checking The Cleanliness Of The Banquet Rooms & Bathrooms Throughout
- Cleaning The Work Areas
- Clearing Throughout The Dinner Service
- Maintaining The Cleanliness Of The Work Area While Performing Side Work
- During Shift Downtime, Including, But Not Limited To, Rolling Silverware
- Minimal Post-Event / Post-Wedding Cleanup, With The Flexibility To Do
- Full Post-Event / Post-Wedding Cleanup
- Night Shift Preparation
- Pre-Dinner Preparation
- Post-Dinner Cleanup
- Restocking
- Etc.
Requirements
- Must always be a team player and execute excellent customer service.
- Must be capable of carrying and lifting serving trays weighing up to 15 pounds for distances of up to 25 feet.
- Must practice good personal hygiene.
- Must report to work in a clean and proper uniform, on time, and well-groomed.

As part of the Event Setup staff, your job responsibilities will include cleaning up and setting up for each event / wedding. Paid, thorough training with strict expectations is provided; excellent attention to detail is required.

- Assisting In Setting Up For Various Types Of Events At Several Onsite Locations
- Cleaning
- Coordinating & Reporting With The Event Manager

Job description
Kilkarney Hills Golf Course & Banquet Facility is an award-winning venue located in River Falls
WI, just 20 miles from the Twin Cities. Our mission is to provide a memorable experience that
exceeds the common expectation. We specialize in weddings, golf outings, tournaments,
corporate meetings, conferences, award banquets, fundraisers & catering.
Banquet Cook Job Responsibilities:
Work with the Executive Chef and the management team,
the banquet cook is responsible for the following, preparation, cook, bake, serve, clean and
finish service according to client's wishes. In addition, the banquet cook will follow our catering
menu, event sheets and work from prep lists and recipes as assigned offering plated or buffet
meal services.
1 year of banquet cooking experience is preferred but not necessary.
Full to Part-Time Hours available.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week afternoons, weekends, some holidays
Banquet Cook
Job Description
Responsible for preparing and cooking food for large events, ensuring high-quality dishes are served on time while adhering to food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes for banquets, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines. Makes and completes prep lists.
- Quality Control: Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion sizes to ensure the quality meets the establishment's standards.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during events, communicating effectively to manage tasks and timelines.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, always adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Qualifications and Skills
- Culinary Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in banquet or large-scale food preparation.
- Education: A high school diploma is typically required; culinary school training or relevant certifications are preferred.
- Skills: Strong culinary skills, time management, organizational abilities, and the capacity to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and management effectively.
- Practices proper grooming and hygiene standards.
- Practices proper receiving and food storage standards in the kitchen.
- Maintains Quality levels of receiving, storage, production, and presentation of food
- Follows and enforces all applicable safety procedures specified for kitchen and food servers.

Sous Chef
POSITION TITLE: Sous Chef
REPORTS TO: Owner / Executive Chef
Job Description:
Responsible for the consistent preparation of Banquet Event Food in the highest quality, presentation, and flavor for the banquets and other food Events, resulting in outstanding guest satisfaction.
Additionally, responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with the smooth running of the kitchen stock, wastage control, hygiene practices, and training within the kitchen/ dish room staff.
Sous Chef Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage Event Service in the absence of the Executive Chef
- Understand employee positions well enough to perform duties in employees' absence or determine appropriate replacement to fill gaps.
- Utilizes interpersonal communication skills to lead and influence the kitchen staff.
- Ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards.
- Follows proper handling and storage at the right temperature for all food products.
- Ensures all equipment in the kitchen is properly cleaned and maintained in working order in accordance with the local Health Department.
- Coordinates with the purchasing department for the acquisition of needed goods and services.
- Ensure all products are prepared invariably and meet appearance/quality standards.
- Practices proper grooming and hygiene standards.
- Practices proper receiving and food storage standards in the kitchen.
- Maintains Quality levels of receiving, storage, production, and presentation of food.
- Follows and enforces all applicable safety procedures specified for kitchen and food servers.
PREREQUISITES:
Displays leadership in guest hospitality, exemplifies excellent customer service, and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relations.
Having an eye for detail and creativity to look at things differently will be key to developing the Food and Beverage Experience.
EDUCATION:
- Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Have or be able to obtain a food manager certification
- 2 Year quantity cooking or equivalent culinary or university degree.
